Agatha knows what she has now and the Scarlet Witch is one of the most effective sorceresses on Earth.įans may or may not know this, but Wanda has been known as the Scarlet Witch since her first appearance in X-Men #4. Having been exposed to these forces at an early age, she has been able to reshape reality. The source of Wanda’s unnatural abilities stems from actual magic and innate power to warp reality. Thus, joining the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. From there they became the Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. Wanda and Pietro joined forces with Magneto. She has proven her case and makes a point to Wanda that she has not yet considered: It’s all chaos magic and Wanda is the Scarlet Witch. Agatha has them lassoed with her purple powers around their necks and floating a good ten feet above them. Suddenly Agatha disappears and Wanda hears her children crying outside. Wanda ends up on the set of her WandaVision with Agatha giving a slow clap of appreciation. She now creates a Pleasantville of her own where Vision welcomes her home. All her red streaming powers coming pouring out of her.
There she finds the lot of lands that Vision bought for them to grow old. She ends up in a quaint town of Westview, think Stars Hollow without the coffee, property taxes, and jibber-jabber. Wanda leaves the headquarters and goes for a drive to decompress. Or was it intentional? He refers to it again and clearly, he wants his three-billion dollar war machine back online and is going to use Wanda to do it. Hayward appears to have said too much, hinting that Wanda can bring him back to life. When Wanda tries to give the robotic love of her life a proper funeral for close, Director Hayward (Josh Stamberg) shows her his body: they are dissembling him. She is reminded of the time she had to kill Vision only to have Thanos bring him back to kill him again for the much-needed infinity stone (seems to be a metaphor for mining bitcoin if you ask me). There, she falls for Paul Bettany’s innocence to American sitcoms.
Then cut to Wanda watching Malcolm in the Middle (Fox owns Disney now, so, you can bet it will be all FOX sitcoms going forward) at the MCU headquarters. Next, Wanda wanted to change the world by joining an anti-freedom organization, Hydra, and is exposed to Loki’s scepter that has fallen into the hands of Hydra– this is the source of Wanda’s powers, Agatha surmises. Unfortunately, the family fun time ends quickly as a bomb from Stark industries blows up their home, killing her parents. Her father wanted to distract their children from the atrocities outside. She grew up in the war-torn Eastern part of Europe and her father would bring her and Pietro box sets of television shows. She needs to know how Wanda created this entire world in Westview and brought Vision (Paul Bettany) back to life. Agatha (Kathryn Hahn) pulls a Christmas Carol and takes Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) through her past to get a glimpse of how she got her powers.
